“What strikes me most is the hotel's prime location in Shijokarasuma, downtown Kyoto, putting you right on the path of the Gion Matsuri floats; plus, the staff's fluent English and readiness to assist smooths out any language barrier. The provision of necessities and sleepwear adds a thoughtful touch. If you seek affordability without sacrificing central access, this could be your spot.”

the room had a private single layout and was non-smoking. the towels were changed every day at no extra cost. the lights were bright and i found the air conditioning to be comfortable. i also appreciated the free room shoes.
the hotel did not have chairs in the rooms or common areas. finding a place to sit and relax after a long day was challenging. i prefer to unwind with my ipad, but that was not feasible.

i found the hotel very clean, especially the communal bathroom. it was spacious and well kept. the location was excellent with convenient access to shopping and convenience stores. the staff were helpful and i enjoyed my stay.

amazing location gion proximity small rooms faulty picture
i found the location amazing!!! it was next to kawaramachi. it was not far from gion either. the bathrooms were really nice☺️.
the rooms were too small for two people and luggage. it was tough to make it work. the picture made it seem like the two people rooms would include a private bathroom. this was not the case.
